  • Can I bring my dog?

    Dogs are allowed on our site.

    Please keep dogs on a lead at all times.

    We allow dogs in our pet friendly lodges at an extra charge of £25 per stay.

    When walking dogs, please be respectful of other guests fishing and try to keep away from the lakes.


  • Where is your main office?

    The main office is situated on phase 1, as you drive through the gates the office is on the right hand side and is sign posted. 

    Office hours are:

    07:00am-17:00pm April-October

    08:00-16:00pm November-March 

  • Do any lodges have a hot tub?

    Yes, all of our luxury lodges have a hot tub at your leisure. 

  • Are the lodges equipped with cooking facilities?

    All of our luxury lodges have a fully equipped kitchen, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

  • Do you have a terms and conditions policy?

    Yes we do, please click here. Please check this policy before bookng to stay with us at Makins Fishery. 

  • Do you allow BBQ's?

    We only allow Gas BBQ's and stoves on our campsite, charcoal and disposable BBQ's are not permitted. 

    BBQ's are not allowed on the lakes, only gas stoves are permitted.

  • Do the lodges have heating?

    All of our luxury lodges are equipped with gas central heating and an electric fire. 

  • Can I get a full refund on my lodge booking?

  • Can I smoke in the lodges?

    No. Smoking is not permitted in any of our luxury lodges.

  • Is there anywhere to park?

    Each of our luxury lodges have private parking.

  • What facilities are available on the Touring Park?

    Off road parking

  • Do you allow fires?

    NO fires/firepits of any kind are allowed on our fishery.
